Despite strong demand, the service had evolved organically and lacked a clear strategy, investment case, or scalable operating model.

  • Legacy technology limited scalability
  • No clear view of:
    • where to invest
    • expected returns
    • how to sequence improvements 


Without a structured business case, investment decisions were difficult to justify.

My Role

My Role

 I was responsible for:

  • Structuring the problem and approach 
  • Designing the business case methodology
  • Leading synthesis and decision frameworks
  • Translating insights into a roadmap

Approach

1. Structuring the opportunity space

Captured and consolidated inputs from:

  • internal teams 
  • existing research
  • customer insights
     

Ensured all opportunities were considered across:

  • growth
  • experience improvements
  • operational efficiency
  • operating model changes

2. Quantifying value

Defined benefit metrics across:

  • lead generation
  • conversion / penetration
  • revenue uplift


Paired each opportunity with:

  • cost estimates
  • feasibility assessment

3. Enabling decision-making

Developed a model to compare:

  • impact vs investment 
  • short vs long-term value
     

This allowed clear prioritisation of initiatives.

4. Translating into execution

Sequenced initiatives into a 3-year roadmap, aligned to:

  • ROI 
  • dependencies
  • delivery feasibility
